3. Confirm your phone is on a 2.4 GHz WiFi network — 360Eyes cameras can't join 5 GHz.

The camera is powered through the socket, so the switch is effectively its power cord. Options: tape or cover the switch, swap in a smart switch you can lock on, or warn the household.
